Staining Wood

I love the way dark wood looks. Throughout my house, everything is dark wood. When I got my pervious boxes from decocrated that included light color wood, I knew I’d stain them. I love the way they originally looked but they didn’t match my house well.

I picked out this mahogany from Lowes.

I started off by taping the parts off that I didn’t want to be painted.

I then just added two coats with a sponge brush.

I was surprised by how fast and easy this project ended up being.
