I am awful at doing crafts with my daughter. She loves doing them though. I try my best. I’m not creative and I don’t enjoy kid’s crafts. I saw Crayola had these tie dye Easter Egg Cookies at the store. I knew I had to get them. I love to tie dye. I didn’t know it came with cookies in it. That is great for me. I’m horrible at baking.
This comes with pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange. I had so many ideas running through my head on what to do with this. I really wanted to try the tie dye effect though.
I started off by making some jigged lines on the egg.
I wet a paint brush in some water and started spreading the icing out. It works best if you use a lot of water. I started from the middle and went to the edge.
These are the cookies that I made.
My daughter had so much fun making these with me too. She spent so much time on each of her eggs.
