Decorating for Spring

I love decorating for each season. I honestly don’t have any decor pieces for spring or summer. This is my second year as a homeowner, so I am slowly getting the seasonal pieces that I need. I love having different art throughout my home. I normally have people I know make my artwork but this stuff is so unique. I don’t know anyone who would be able to recreate this style of art. It is all just so beautiful. I started off by decorating my floating shelf. I had so much winter decorations still on it. I took everything off and placed the framed art on it. I added a candle next to it because I love the colors together.In my foyer, we have a huge staircase. I like having a little decoration pieces on the lip of the staircase. For the winter, I had a snowman. This spring I put the lantern in it’s place. I was unshare about what to put in it. I wad thinking a tall candle but none of mine were tall enough. I added this vase and a fake succulent in it. I think it looks so adorable and unique. In my foyer I have a bench. I didn’t know what to put on it. I have always had it empty since we got it. I added the four tin containers to it and I think it looks adorable. I don’t know if I’m going to add anything to them or not. I plan on placing the chalkboard above my makeup table. I think it’ll look nice and girly up there. I will have to look on pinterst for some cute quotes to have on it. I had brown pillows on my couch before I added the blue ones. I never liked the brown ones but they were all I had. I’d love to change the blanket to a green or blue one but honestly I still need a heavy one on the couch.I added the gold tray to my nightstand. I love how it makes my stuff look like it has more of a purpose. At night I keep my water and phone on it so I like having the space for that stuff too. I added the bag to my ottoman in my makeup room. I think I want to get some fake flowers to stick in it through the top. I like having something sit on this ottoman. This is a great way to bring spring into other parts of the house.
