Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about fall. I love that it isn’t humid outside. I love that there aren’t as many bugs. I love watching the leaves change. I absolutely love the fall fashion. I am so excited about it all. I want my house to look like fall threw up in it. I have some Halloween decorations that I am waiting a little longer before I hang them up too.

Front Porch

We hang out on our front porch a lot. We have nice chairs out there, the grill and smoker, and it’s covered. I didn’t want the decorations to be in our way as we do our stuff out here so I just added a scarecrow and a welcome mat.

Foyer

My foyer is my favorite room in the house. I kept it simple with the decorations in here. I love door hangers on the front door. Annalise and I each picked out the scarecrows. I think it is a great way to be greeted.

Living room

My living room has so many cute pieces. I have some leaves on the TV. I think it is an easy way to add a little fall to the house. On a floating shelf I added a vase of pumpkins and scarrcrows. We have a wood stove in our living room that we don’t use. I decided to add a little decorations to it as well. I kept it simple with leaves and a big pumpkin. My favorite decorations are the white crocheted pumpkins on my daughter’s toy cubby. I wanted something soft on it so it wouldn’t hurt her if she knocked them down. They are small enough too to not be in her way either. I ordered some pillow case covers for the couch too.

Dining room

The dining room is my favorite room to decorate because it has shelves. I basically just added pumpkins and leavs wherever I could fit them them.

Kitchen

I have never decorated the kitchen for a holiday or season other than with hand towels. I just put in two signs to add some color in there. They are small enough to not look cluttered or be in the way.
