This year for my birthday, I turned 24. I am here to share how my birthday went. Cody had got me some stuff early. He got me my new favorite fake plant. He even got me the new Jeffree Star x Morphe pallette. I was so excited about that. So on the actual day off, I didn’t get a present.
The morning starts off with breakfast burritos. That is my favorite breakfast food. Cody makes them so good. He cooks the shells so they are warm. He adds eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, and salsa to it. It keeps you so full. I normally don’t eat lunch when I have this for breakfast.
After breakfast we went to get coffee at our local coffee shop. It was nice enough outside to sit outside while we drank our coffee. I ordered a small iced coffee with vanilla and carmel. I order mine with lots of cream and sugar with whipped cream on top.
My kid wanted us to still do something while we were out and about. We decided to go to the park since most kids were at school. Our park is normally so busy and crowded it is hard to enjoy it. Luckily, there was no one there.
We went to dock and just gazed at the lake. It is one of my favorite things to do at the park. It is just so beautiful.
We went home and I had a ton of packages waiting for me. My friend had sent me an awesome belt and I got some other things.
I cleaned up the house a bit afterwards. Cody and Annalise went to the store to pick up my cake. We had planned this cake out for the last three years. Next year will be even funnier because 25 is funnier than 24.
My kid doesn’t do nap time anymore, but she does quiet time. I need a break and she needs time to calm down. We are some cake after her quiet time and my daughter convinced me that we needed to watch some SpongeBob. I mean I did have a SpongeBob cake. She only watches a little TV, so she got bored pretty quickly. She started saying how much she wanted to go on a walk, but it was 90 degrees. I am just so over summer weather. If it is over 85 degrees, I just don’t want to be outside. I decided we could go on a walk though because I wanted to get a lemonade. I drank just about all of my lemonade before I took the picture though.
One of the most important parts of a birthday, is the birthday dinner. I struggled with knowing what I wanted to eat. I just have so many favorite foods. We decided a grilled steak, grilled corn, and baked potatoes. It was so yummy.
That was about everything we did for my birthday. After dinner, we watched some TV because that’s my favorite pass time.
