I know many people love fall. I personally love fall as well. We all try to make fall fashion come as soon as we can. But we can’t make it happen, in August and September really. No matter how excited you are to wear flannels, you have to wait a few months still. I put together some pieces to prepare for fall.

Jumpsuits

These are so perfect. They are lightweight enough to be fine in the summer time, but still give you a little coverage if you need it. As it starts getting a little cooler out, you don’t always want so much leg exposed to the world.

Mesh Leggings

Leggings with mesh cutouts, are some of my favorite. I think they are so adorable. They give a fun spin on just regular black leggings, without being too much.

Skater skirts

At the end of the summer, I’m just so over wearing shorts. A skater skirt is super comfortable while also covering some skin as it gets cooler out. I also love how put together they make you look when you really don’t put much effort into the look.

Capris

This is an obvious one. I always go for capris whenever I can. These are my favorite and they have a small hole in them. If you have any suggestions on some that work for super short women, please let me know.

Dusters

Long dusters are a great way to keep wearing shorts even as it gets a little colder. It gives you a little extra coverage to keep you cool. I am super short but I love the long dramatic look. I normally get the cardigans that cover the booty, but I order them a few sizes bigger. This way it isn’t actually dragging on the floor.

Darker colors

When all else fails, just go for darker colors. Most people associate darker colors with fall. If it is still super hot where you live but you want to pretend like it is fall, this may be a good idea for you.
