Let’s face it, we all have days that our confidence level is really low. Even the people that seem to be so confident and body positive, go through this. Social media makes it so easy for us to judge ourselves to others. I put a list together of different things I do when feeling self conscious.
Workout
I’ve been working out regularly since January guys! I’m so proud of myself for this accomplishment. Working out is a great thing to do to clear your mind. It just makes you feel so good afterwards. After the part of feeling like you are going to die from exhaustion. You can keep it simple and go for a walk or do yoga. You can make it more intense and do boxing or running. There’s so many forms of exercise, that you can find what works best for you.

Makeup
This is just an exterior part of you but it can help. I don’t put on makeup to look good for other people. I find it fun to do and a great way to relax. I am fine with how I look without makeup, but I perfer the way I look with it on. I enjoy trying new things with it. You can go full glam or super subtle. It all depends on your preferences.

Bible reading
Reading the Bible always makes me feel better. When I’m really struggling on a certain topic in life, I look up some chapters that focus on that. It is such a big book, that you can really find whatever is on your mind in it.
Cuddles
My love language is through touch. I am always trying to cuddle with everyone I love. When I am feeling down, I just offer my daughter some cuddles. I think everyone can pick up on the fact that I show my love through cuddles. That or it may be that I’m a mom. There’s something comforting about moms. Nonetheless, everyone always offers me cuddles.

Cleaning
I have a love hate relationship with cleaning. I hate actually cleaning, but I love the end result. I really love how nice my house looks when it is clean. Something I do every day, is make sure that the beds are made. It is something so simple and easy to do. It makes the bedrooms immediately look so much cleaner. There’s something so satisfying about crawling into bed at night that’s made.
