As a stay at home mom, many people call the day to day outfit you wear, your momiform. It is very simple how the name came about. You’re a mom and this is basically your “uniform”. It varys drastically from person to person and the time of year it is. As you become a mom, you may not feel comfortable in what you used to love wearing. You may not feel like going through all the work of putting yourself together if you are just going to be at home. From my personal experience, for me I am more protective in my day when I am put together.
My personal style
I don’t like hanging out in pajamas all day but I want to be comfortable. I opt for high waisted leggings most days. They hold my belly in place and allow me to move around easily while playing with my toddler. I feel like investing in a good pair of leggings is important. I love lularoe’s workout leggings and bulldog yoga. They are great quality. As far as tops go, I keep it pretty simple most days. I either go with a little wording or just a solid color top. Eddie Bauer makes my favorite tops. If you sign up for their email list and shop sales, it can be really cheap. The real thing that makes my outfit stand out, is my cardigans. I love ones with fun patterns and textures. I really love long ones as well. I’m four foot seven and sometimes order my cardigans a size or two bigger, just so they can be crazy long. Most of my cardigans are from lularoe as well. They just have so many patterns to choose from that it is awesome.
All in all it really doesn’t matter what you wear as your momiform. The beauty of being a stay at home mom is that you have no boss. You get to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. As you get older, the way you view your body may change. You can feel mlre or less confident in yourself. Your confidence really plays the a factor in what you want to wear. I’m proud of where I’m at today with my confidence and body acceptance. I hope you are as well.
